Augustana University Athletics

Alan Julius begins his first season as a student assistant helping the defensive line at Augustana in 2011.

Julius spent the 2010 season as a redshirt with the Vikings but suffered a career-ending injury.

A native of Mason City, Iowa, and 2010 graduate of Newman Catholic High School, Julius was a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter for the Knights. He picked up all-district and all-state honors as a senior and was twice named academic all-district.

Julius is pursuing a degree in biology at Augustana.
