Rick Krsnak was appointed head men’s golf coach at Augustana in the fall of 2006.
Krsnak grew up in Sioux Falls and attended Lincoln High School, where he played golf for the Patriots under coach Floyd Farrand. He graduated from Lincoln in 1970.
Krsnak played golf at the University of South Dakota under coach Dwayne Clodfelter from 1971 to 1974. The Coyotes were North Central Conference runners-up in 1972.
Krsnak and his wife, Jeri, won the South Dakota Golf Association Husband and Wife State Championships five times – 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987. He is a former Sioux Falls City Men’s golf champion (1971), and also won club titles at Westward Ho Country Club and Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
In addition to his coaching duties, Krsnak is an instructor at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
