Tracy Whitfield enters his first season as a student assistant working with wide receivers at Augustana in 2011.

A native of Bellevue, Neb., Whitfield spent two years at Briar Cliff, where he played baseball for the Chargers.

Whitfield graduated from Bellevue West High School in 2008, earning letters in baseball, football, hockey and trapshooting.

Whitfield is pursuing a degree in sports management with a minor in business at Augustana.
