Lynch will have a two-headed monster to work with in the backfield in 2013, as CJ Ham returns for his sophomore season. Ham rushed for 404 yards last season, scoring two touchdowns.

A native of Apple Valley, Minn., Lynch graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in exercise science from St. Olaf in 2012. He was a four-year starter at linebacker for the Oles and was voted as the team's defensive MVP in 2011. An All-MIAC performer in 2011, Lynch led his team with 97 tackles, including 57 solo tackles and three sacks. He finished his career with 161.5 tackles in four seasons at St. Olaf.
