2008 (Reshirt): Sat out season as redshirt.

Before Augustana: Spent 2006 and 2007 seasons at Briar Cliff (Iowa) ... helped lead team to 5-6 record, most wins in school  history, in 2007 ... scored first Briar Cliff touchdown ever against Northwestern College ... had 35-yard touchdown catch versus Morningside ... named team offensive player of the week three times. 

High School: 2004 graduate of Lennox High School ... attended Sioux Falls Lincoln High School from 2001 to 2003 ... two-year letterwinner and one-year starter at Lincoln ... led Lincoln to 9-1 record and Greater Dakota Conference championship at 2001 ... at Lennox, lwas letterwinner, starter and captain ... led team in sacks, recorded more than 50 tackles and set single-season rushing record ...  played for Kent Anderson ... also lettered in wrestling and baseball ... placed fifth at South Dakota State Wrestling Championships with 36-8 record as senior ... also qualified as junior ... led Lennox wrestling team to Big 8 runner-up finish.
