Augustana University Athletics

Jeremy Klaassen is in his eighth season as an assistant track and field coach at Augustana, where his athletes have set numerous school records in throwing events. 

Klaassen helped Jen Buyske win the 2005 javelin national title as a freshman.

Before coming to Augustana, he earned his bacherlor's degree in wellness management from the University of Sioux Falls and went on to secure a master's in exercise science and health promotion from Northern Iowa.

Klaassen is currently the owner of X-Fitness Gym in Sioux Falls and lives with his wife, Jamie, in Harrisburg.
