Katie Pabst is in her first season as Augustana’s Assistant Cheer Coach in 2018-19.
Pabst, a native of Sioux Falls, SD, currently teaches Chemistry and Dance at Lincoln HS in Sioux Falls.
Pabst is a graduate of Augustana University where she was a member of the cheer team and earned her degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She has been involved in dance and cheer since she was young. While in college Katie was a member of a collegiate competitive cheer team for two years. She also danced for the Sioux Falls Storm for six seasons after college.
Katie started her coaching career coaching the sideline football and basketball cheer squads at Lincoln HS. She has also coached the competitive cheer and dance team at Lincoln HS. Overall she has 12 years of coaching experience. She is excited to be back at Augustana sharing her passion for cheer and dance.
Pabst resides in Sioux Falls and holds a Master’s Degree of Education from the University of Sioux Falls.
