Augustana University Athletics

Sophia Gardner joined the Augustana acrobatics and tumbling staff as a graduate assistant in 2022. Gardner, from Waco, Texas, is a 2022 graduate of Azusa Pacific University. She brings experience as a gymnastics coach and acrobatics and tumbling youth coach to her position.

While at Azusa Pacific, Gardner competed as a back/base and tumbler for the APU acrobatics and tumbling team for four years. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in communication studies.

Gardner is pursuing a Masters of Sports Administration and Leadership at Augustana and resides in Sioux Falls.
