Augustana University Athletics

Shawn Bergan is in his fifth season as a part-time assistant coach at Augustana in 2012-13 after serving seven seasons as the head coach of the girls' basketball program at Sioux Falls Lincoln High School.

He has been involved with coaching basketball for the past 21 years, working with high school boys' and girls' programs and men’s and women’s college teams. 

Bergan was a part-time assistant for the Augustana men's team from 1991 to 1994 and is a 1994 Augustana graduate. Shawn assists in all phases of the Augustana program, including assisting in summer camps around the Sioux Falls area.

Bergan and wife Ginger, who is a physical educational teacher in the Sioux Falls School District, live in Sioux Falls with their son, Bo, and daughters, Gracie and Anna.
