2014 (Redshirt): Sat out season as a redshirt ... competed unattached in three meets … placed 61st at the Augustana Twilight (3m, 17:49.6) on Sept. 6 … finished 142nd at the Roy Griak Invitational (6k, 25:48.7) on Sept. 27 … placed 24th at the Briar Cliff Invitational (5k, 19:17.72) on Oct. 11.
High School: A 2014 graduate of Canby High School … school’s only six-time state qualifier in cross country … a four-time all-conference honoree, Jessen led her team to a section 3A championship in 2012 and three top three finishes at the section championships in her four years at CHS … earned all-state honors as a freshman with a seventh-place finish at the Minnesota Class A State Championships in 2010 … named to the Minnesota academic all-state team as a junior and senior … career-best 4k time of 14:50.
