Former Augustana infielder Charlie Dubanoski begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Vikings in 2012.
A native of Burnsville, Minn., and 2007 graduate of Burnsville High School, Dubanoski was a two-time All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference selection for the Vikings. His career, which spanned from 2008 to 2011, also included selections to three different all-region teams, a spot on the 2011 NSIC All-Tournament Team and a nod for NSIC Player of the Week on March 23, 2010.
Dubanoski had a career batting average of .358. He drove in 157 runs, knocked 37 doubles and smashed 28 home runs while at Augustana.
He has held assistant coaching positions with the Burnsville Cobras and Bloomington East legion programs.
Dubanoski is finishing his degree in physical education at Augustana.
