2023-24: Academic All NSIC. At the NSIC Championships, Nelson finished the meet with season bests in the 50 Free (24.82), 100 Free (53.80), and the 100 Fly (1:00.81).
2022-23: Named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team. At the NSIC Championships, Nelson finished the meet with a personal best in the 100 IM (1:02.48), and season bests in the 100 Free (54.85), and the 200 Free (2:00.13)
2021-22: At the South Dakota State vs. Augustana meet, Nelson finished 6th in the 100 Free with a time of 56.93. At the NSIC Championships, she ended the meet with new career bests in the 50 Free (24.60), 100 Free (53.79), 200 Free (1:59.02), and the 100 Fly (59.49).
High School: Graduated from Palmer Ridge High School in May of 2021 … In her junior season, Nelson qualified in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle as well as being part of the state finals in the 200-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay.
