Indoor: Placed sixth in the 3000 meter run at the Dordt Indoor Open with a time of 11:51.67 … At the Wildcat open Jessen placed fourth in the Mile with a time of 5:57.21.
Outdoor: Did not compete
High School: A 2014 graduate of Canby High School … school’s only six-time state qualifier in cross country … a four-time all-conference honoree, Jessen led her team to a section 3A championship in 2012 and three top three finishes at the section championships in her four years at CHS … earned all-state honors as a freshman with a seventh-place finish at the Minnesota Class A State Championships in 2010 … named to the Minnesota academic all-state team as a junior and senior … career-best 4k time of 14:50.
