Indoor: Academic All NSIC… Earned a fifth place finish with her season best 1,000m time of 2:58.42 at the NSIC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23… Finished in third place with her season best mile time of 5:10.99 at the SDSU Last Chance on Feb. 15… Finished in seventh place with her season best 800m time of 2:18.75 at the Mark Schuck Open on Jan. 26… Earned a fourth place finish with her season best 600m time of 1:38.23 at the SDSU DII Invitational on Jan. 18.
Outdoor: Academic All NSIC… Ran season bests in the 1,500m and 5,000m (4:45.10 and 18:50.95 respectively) at the NSIC Outdoor Championships on May 11… Earned a first place with her season best 800m (2:15.65) at the Mount Marty Invite on Apr. 24.
2017-18 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Did not compete in indoor events.
Outdoor: Earned a third place finish in the 800m (2:17.88) at the Mount Marty Twilight on Apr. 25… Finished in 10th place in the 1,500m (5:04.25) at the 2018 MIAA v. NSIC Showdown on Apr. 5.
2016-17 (Freshman)
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Set a personal best mark in the 800-meters with a time of 2:30.14 at the Butler/Greeno Dual and finished in third.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Harrisburg High School … four-year letterwinner … finished in eighth at state in the 1,600 meters her freshman year … four-time team captain … helped her team finish in fifth at state in the medley relay her junior season.
Personal: Daughter of Tim and Lisa Schenk … born in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Sept. 9, 1997 … will major in Biology with a minor in Spanish.
