Augustana University Athletics

Andy Boehnke is in his 10th year as an assistant athletic trainer at Augustana in 2012-13.   His primary sport responsibilities include women’s soccer, wrestling and baseball, and he shares the team duties for cross country and track and field.

Boehnke also works for the Sanford POWER program with Sanford Hospital during the summer months.

Prior to coming to Augustana, Boehnke served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic in Mankato, Minn., for two years.

A Henry, S.D., native, Boehnke graduated from South Dakota State in 2001 with bachelor’s degrees in athletic training and health, physical education and recreation.   He received his master’s degree in sports administration from Minnesota State in 2003.
