Mitch Lunning enters his second season as a volunteer assistant coach in 2012.

A native of LeRoy, Minn., Lunning graduated from Augustana College in 2009 with majors in business administration and computer information systems. He wrestled for the Vikings from 2004-2009.

Lunning has two years of experience coaching the Sioux Empire Volleyball Club and was the freshman volleyball coach at O'Gorman last season.

Lunning lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Lisa, a former graduate assistant coach for Augustana.
