2017-18 (Redshirt Freshman): Went 8-4 with a dual record of 0-1 ... went 6-1 at 184 pounds, 2-2 at 174 pounds and 0-1 at 197 pounds ... had two falls, one tech fall and one major decision ... took first at the Worthington Open (Jan. 20) ... finished in fourth at the Warrior-Viking Open (Dec. 30) and sixth at the Daktronics Open (Nov. 5).

2016-17 (Freshman): Sat out as a redshirt and wrestled unattached in all matches …finished the season with a record of 23-6 at 174/184 pounds … took first at the Yellowjacket Open (Nov. 5), the Dakota Wesleyan Open (Nov. 12), the Ridgewater Open (Jan. 14), the Worthington Open (Jan. 21) and the North Country Open (Jan. 29) … finished in second at the Hastings Cusatis Open (Jan. 7) … finished the year with 11 pins, two tech falls and three major decisions.

High School: 2016 graduate of South Harrison High School ... finished with a career record of 195-8 ... won state titles his junior and senior year going undefeated both years … named District Wrestler of the Year his junior and freshman seasons … four-time conference and district champ … took third at state as sophomore and fifth as a freshman ... three-time Academic All-State honoree.

Personal: Son of Greg and Camelle Ward … born in St. Joseph, Mo. on July 25, 1997 … will major in Physical Education with a minor in Economics, will aspirations of becoming a teacher and coach.
