Brent Henriksen twice earned All-America distinction while competing for Augustana. Qualifying for nationals at 177 pounds, he finished sixth in 1998 and eighth in 1999.
He posted a 51-20 career record with the Vikings.
He registered an overall record of 13-3 to go along with a 9-2 dual mark for 1997-98 and was the North Central Conference runner-up. In 1998-99 he was 10-4 overall and 7-2 in duals with a third-place finish in the NCC.
Henriksen, a native of Arlington, S.D., was a three-time All-NCC Academic choice – 1996-97, 1997-98, and 1998-99. He was selected to the NCAA Division II All-Academic Team in 1997-98 and 1998-99.
He graduated from Augustana in 1999 and was the recipient of a NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship. He attended the University of Nebraska/College of Medicine.
Henriksen lives in Sioux Falls where he is a practicing oral surgeon with River Edge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Center.
