Cody Henriksen followed his brother, Brent, to Augustana and became a three-time All-America at 165 pounds. He finished sixth at the NCAA Division II nationals in 2005, took fourth place in 2006, and was third in 2007.
He accumulated a 73-33 career record with the Vikings. For two years he served as the team captain.
He was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team for 2006-07. That same year he was chosen to the All-North Central Conference All-Academic team.
Additional academic honors included the ESPN Academic All-America Team, NCAA Division II All-Academic team, and National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Academic team. He also participated in Augustana’s Summer Research Program.
He graduated in 2007 and was awarded an NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship.
Henriksen attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He lives in Sioux Falls, where he practices with the Dental Comfort Center.
