Michael Lowman joins the Augustana wrestling coaching staff as a student assistant coach in 2017-18.
Lowman was a two-time national qualifier for the Vikings and earned All-American honors during his senior season with a 4th-place finish at heavyweight.
The North Highlands, Calif. native finished his five-year Viking career with a record of 112-47.
Lowman earned first-team All-NSIC honors as a senior and was three time named NSIC Wrestler of the Week during his Viking career.
Lowman currently resides in Sioux Falls, S.D. and is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in physical education at Augustana.
