Biography

2020-21 (Senior): Went 2-1 on the season, logging his 20th career win as a Viking with his first win of the season.

2019-20 (Junior): Went 7-4 overall and 1-3 in duals at 184 pounds with two falls… Earned a first-place finish at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on Nov. 9… Recorded seven takedowns, one reversal, 17 escapes, two four-point nearfalls and one riding time point.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Competed in two matches at 157 pounds.

2017-18 (Redshirt Freshman): Finished the season with a record of 10-7 at 165 pounds ... notched three falls on the year ... took fourth at the Ridgewater Open (Jan. 6)... took fifth at the Sioux City Open. 

2016-17 (Freshman): Sat out as a redshirt and wrestled unattached in all matches … finished the season with a record of 6-7 at 157/165 pounds … placed in fifth at the Ridgewater Open (Jan. 14) … recorded one pin, two takedowns and five escapes on the season.

High School: 2016 Graduate of Sturgis Brown High School … compiled a record of 156-42 in high school … four-time state placer… finished as state runner-up his junior season and took fourth his senior year … two-time regional champion … two-time team captain ... two-time Junior and Cadet South Dakota Freestyle and Greco team member

Personal: Son of Will and Jan Brengle … was born in Rapid City, S.D. on December 21, 1997 … Will major in Nursing.
