Betzi Plucker is in her third season as Augustana’s Head Cheer Coach in 2021-22.
Plucker, a native of Sioux Falls, currently works for Sioux Empire Baseball Association.
Plucker is a graduate of South Dakota State University where she was a member of the cheer team and earned her degree in Consumer Affairs with a minor in Religion. She has been involved in dance and cheer since she was young. While in college, Plucker was also a member of a collegiate competitive cheer team for two years.
Betzi started her coaching career coaching the sideline football and basketball cheer squads at Sioux Falls Lincoln HS. She has also been on the coaching staff for the competitive cheer team at Lincoln HS. She is happy to continue her passion for Cheer at Augustana.
Plucker resides in Sioux Falls with her husband and their daughter.
