Cameron McCaffrey, a 6-1, 170-pound, , freshman guard from Portland, Ore., helped Augustana stage one of the biggest comebacks in school history as he helped the Vikings rally from a 16-point deficit in the final 6 minutes to defeat Winona State 82-81.

McCaffrey scored 17 of his career-high 29 points in the final 3:29 of the game, including the game-winning basket with 0.3 seconds left in the game.

In Augustana’s 84-73 win over Upper Iowa, McCaffrey scored 16 points on 6 of 12 shooting.

For the week, McCaffrey, who entered the week averaging 11.2 points per game, ame off the bench and averaged 22.5 points and shot 62.1 percent (18 of 29) from the field. He also made 6 of 12 3-point shots and all 3 free throws.
