Kristin Brondbo (Sr. , Steinkjer, Norway) achieved her highest finish at the NSIC Championships when she placed second overall on Saturday. Brondbo clocked a 21:10.18 on the 6,000-meter course improving her previous best finish of third place in 2010. Brondbo's second-place finish helped the Vikings to a runner-up finish, the first time they haven't won the conference title in seven years. With Brondbo's two points, the Vikings totaled 67, finishing 17 behind winner Minnesota Duluth.
