Shaunteva Ashley led the Vikings to a 2-1 record over the Thanksgiving Holiday at the North Star Invitational in Fairbanks, Alaska. Ashley averaged 24 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.0 steals in just over 33 minutes per game while shooting 43.6 percent (24 of 55) from the field. She scored 23 points to fo along with four reabounds and four assists in a win over Colorado Christian before picking up 25 points and four assists against Alaska Fairbanks and 24 points against Saginaw Valley State. Ashley was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts in the three-game trip.
