Molly Hayes enjoyed her best game of the season in leading Augustana to an 87-64 win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire on December 19. Hayes netted a season-high 21 points while making a career-best 5 3-point baskets. In addition, she matched her career high with 10 assists as she recorded a double-double. It was her second double-double of her career, both of which have come this season. In addition, Hayes grabbed 5 rebounds and racked up 3 steals. Hayes connected on 8 of her 11 field goal attempts (72.7 percent) and 5 of her 8 3-point shots (62.5 percent). For her efforts, Hayes was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week.
