Vikings Turn Heads with Performances at Home• The Vikings not only caught the attention of other NSIC teams and coaches, but also the nation with two victories against Upper Iowa and then-No. 10 Winona State this past weekend.

Kirsten Smith came up big in key spots, scoring both goals for Augustana.
• For Smith, it was her first multi-goal game of her collegiate career.
• The junior from Omaha, Neb. broke open the scoreless tie in the 26th minute of regulation with her first goal.
• Smith drilled a shot into the back of the net from 16 yards out in the middle of the box.
• Smith put the match out of reach in the second half at the 74:48 mark with her second goal, giving the Vikings a 2-0 lead.
