SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana College women's tennis finished their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schedule with a perfect record for the sixth straight season when they defeated St. Cloud State 9-0 on Sunday morning at Woodlake Athletic Club.
 
The Vikings clinched their sixth consecutive NSIC regular season title last night then put the finishing touches on another undefeated conference season with an 11-0 mark on top of their 18-2 overall record. St. Cloud State's season dropped to 8-10 overall with a 6-5 record in NSIC action.
 
Augustana hopped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the team score taking all three doubles matches. Jessa Richards and Sydney Postal finished the NSIC regular season with a perfect 11-0 mark in the top doubles flight, taking down SCSU's No. 1 pairing 8-0.
 
Berkley Darr and Heather Sullivan were quick to pile on another win, scoring their victory in a close 8-5 win at the No. 2 doubles. Jenna Helleberg and Meredith Lawrence picked up their 12th doubles victory of the season, winning 8-0 on Sunday morning to complete the doubles sweep.
 
Augustana was equally dominant in singles play, starting with Richards showing off her No. 7 region ranking with a 6-1, 6-0 win in the top singles match. Postal dominated the No. 2 singles spot and registered a shutout 6-0, 6-0 victory.
 
Christine Olivo battled against her opponent at the No. 3 singles spot winning 6-3, 7-6 (7-4). 

Darr started the onslaught with her 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles and Helleberg followed suit with a 6-0, 6-2 win at the No. 4 singles match. Lawrence polished off the flawless team victory with a 6-0, 6-1 victory of her own at the No. 6 singles slot and improved to 16-0 on the season.

The Vikings close-out regular season traveling to Ames, Iowa to match up against Iowa State on Saturday, April 18.
