SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Augustana women's golf shot a tournament-low round of 305 in the second round of the Central Region Spring Preview on Tuesday and finishes second out of 18 teams at 53-over-par 629 (324-309). Central Oklahoma won the team title shooting a 46-over-par 622 (313-309) to finish just seven strokes ahead of the Vikings.
Augustana's
Sierra Langlie and
Kali Trautman both had impressive showings finishing second and third, respectively. Langlie, who was in third after Monday's round, shot a two-over-par 74 today to finish at seven-over-par 151 (77-74) to place second.
Trautman carded the second lowest individual score of the tournament shooting a one-over-par 73 today to move up 10 spots and finish third overall at eight-over-par 152 (79-73).
Emily Israelson moved up eight spots on the individual leaderboard to finish tied for 14th in the 89-player field. Israelson shot a six-over-par 78 this afternoon to finish at 15-over-par 159 (81-78).
Jordan Bormann took seven strokes off her first round score, firing an eight-over-par 80 this afternoon to finish tied for 43rd at 23-over-par 167.
Jennifer Pederson was four strokes better than her first round score, shooting a 12-over-par 84 to finish with a 28-over-par 172 (88-84).
Augustana returns to action this weekend hosting the Augustana Spring Invite at Prairie Green Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.
