WATERLOO, Iowa – The Augustana men's golf shaved off 10 strokes of its day-one total on Saturday to finish tied for first at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite. The Vikings fired a 304 in the final round to bring their two-day total to 618.

Augustana tied with St. Cloud State in the 10-team tournament, which consisted of all Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams. The first-place finish gives the Vikings their first team title of the season.

Senior Tyler Jensvold kept his stellar play going on Saturday, matching Friday's 74 in the final round at the Sunnyside Country Club to take home individual medalist honors for the first time in his career. Jensvold finished up the tournament with a four-over-par 148 (74-74), three shots ahead of runner-ups Tyler Koivisto and Kowan O'Keefe.

Parker Klitzke moved up one spot on the leaderboard on the final day of play, placing sixth after firing a four-over-par 76 in the final round, bringing his total to 154 (78-76).

Clay Kopplin picked up his third top-10 finish of the year after a final round of 78 put the senior in a tie for 10th. Kopplin ended his tournament with an 11-over-par 155 (77-78).

Drew Trautman bounced back nicely after a rough opening round yesterday, knocking nine strokes off his opening-round score to post a 76 on Saturday, jumping him up 15 spots to a 27th-place finish in the two-day event.

Ted Urch tied for 47th with a two-day total of 168 (87-81).

Blake Swee, competing unattached, stayed in 61st after shooting an 89 in the final round, upping his total to 181.

Augustana has a quick turnaround, competing in the Lindenwood Invite in St. Charles, Mo. on Monday, April 6.
