ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The Augustana men's golf team concluded the St. Cloud State Invitational Monday afternoon in fourth place with a second round total of 298 and a two day total of 601.The Vikings were +25 over par for the weekend but improved their team total of 303 in round one to 298 in round two.

St. Cloud State came away with the team title ending the tournament -1 par. They were the only team to shoot under par.

Sophomore Ted Urch continued his strong play Monday with +2 over par 74 for a two round total of 147. Urch left the Invitational tied for sixth. Joining Urch in sixth place was fellow sophomore Jake Weber who improved his score from round one to round two by a stroke. Weber shot a +1 over par 73 Monday and ended the invite with a two round total of 147.

Sophomore Parker Klitzke rebounded from a round one score of 78 to shoot -2 under par in round two for a day two total of 70. Klitzke finished tied for 11th with +4 over par, 148 shot total.

Senior Clay Kopplin was +4 over par for the second day in a row and ended the invitational tied for 23rd with 152 shot total.

Junior Collin Hammer tied for 27th with a two round total of 154 while senior Matt Drake was tied for 45th after shooting a two day total of 159.

Augustana will travel to Lake City, Minn next Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, for the first two rounds of the NSIC Championships. The Vikings previously competed in Lake City, Minn. Sept. 5-6 finishing eighth.
