SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Augustana women's tennis extended its match winning streak to 12 with a 9-0 victory over Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday afternoon at Huether Family Match Pointe. The victory gives the Vikings a 20-1 record on the year, the loss dropped the Cobbers to 0-15.
The Vikings got off to a fast start as
Sydney Postal defeated Kendra Stoick 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles.
Berkley Darr moved up to No. 2 singles and was victorious against Jade Haseltine 6-0, 6-0. In No. 3 singles
Christine Olivo defeated Lisa Neumann 6-0, 6-0 to move her record to 16-4 on the year.
Meredith Lawrence remained undefeated in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Susan Zniewski in No. 4 singles.
Kaitlyn Motley played in her fifth singles match of the year and won 6-0, 6-0 over Breann Adamek.
Katie McLaughlin completed the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Kalli Bowser in No. 6 singles.
In doubles action, Darr and Postal moved up to No. 1 doubles this match and won 8-0 over Haseltine and Neumann. Motley and Lawrence improved to 20-0 with an 8-0 victory over Stoick and Zniewski in No. 2 doubles. McLaughlin and Olivo teamed up for the first time this year and defeated Adamek and Bowser 8-0 for the 9-0 victory.
