OLATHE, Kan. – Augustana University women's golf shot a 33-over-par 321 in the second round of the Central Region Fall Preview and finished fourth out of 18 teams at 51-over-par 627 (306-321). Central Oklahoma won the team title shooting 35-over-par 611 (304-307) while Southwestern Oklahoma State and Arkansas Tech tied for second at 49-over-par 625.
Missouri Western State's Shi Qing Ong won individual medalist honors shooting 5-over-par 149 (76-73).
Augustana was led by
Kali Trautman, who tied for sixth overall, shooting 11-over-par 155. Trautman was tied for second place after shooting 3-over-par 75 in the first round on Monday. She fired an 8-over-par this afternoon to finish in a five-way tie for sixth.
Freshman
Hannah Hankinson, who was also tied for second after the first round, fired a 9-over-par 81 in today's round to finish in a tie for 11th overall at 12-over-par 156 (75-81).
Emily Israelson tied for 16th overall finishing 14-over-par 158 (76-82) and
Jordan Bormann ended the 36-hole tournament tied for 22nd shooting 16-over-par 160 after firing an 80 in both rounds.
Sierra Langlie took four strokes off of her first round score this afternoon shooting 8-over-par 80 to finish tied for 35th at 20-over-par 164.
Augustana will return to action Sept. 12-13 participating in the University of Indianapolis Fall Invite in Carmel, Indiana.
