ST. PAUL, Minn – Third-ranked Concordia-St. Paul snapped Augustana volleyball's eight match NSIC win-streak with a 3-1 win over the Vikings Saturday night.
Augustana (17-6, 8-5) dropped set one 25-16, set two 25-12 before digging back to win set three 25-19. The Vikings, who are ranked 16th nationally, dropped a heart-breaking set four 32-30.

Courtney Place each had double-doubles for Augustana.
Place, an outside hitter out of Okabena, Minn., set a career high with 24 kills and added 17 digs. Banker, a setter from Omaha, Neb. assisted on 41 of the 54 kills and recorded 14 digs on the evening.
The Golden Bears hit .336 on the night compared to the Vikings .235 hitting percentage.
Augustana returns to action Friday, Oct. 27th when they host #15 Winona State at the Elmen Center.
