MINOT, N.D. – Twelve kills from senior
Bailey Koch helped the Augustana volleyball team take down Minot State, 3-0, to improve their win streak to four matches and even up their record in NSIC conference play.
The Vikings won set one 25-11, set two 25-18 and set three 25-11, for their fourth sweep in a row and eighth on the season and improves their record to 13-5 overall.
"It's hard to come off a long bus ride and be ready to compete right away, but our girls were ready to go," head coach
Jennifer Jacobs said. "We held our composure from the start and really got it going."
Augustana held the Beavers to just a .086 hitting percentage on the night. With the loss, Minot State falls to 3-18 overall and 0-8 in conference play.
Hanna Justesen led the Vikings with 12 digs while senior setter
Alex Banker tallied 38 assists.
Augustana returns to action Saturday when they travel to Mary for a 2 p.m. first serve.
