SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augsutana University softball (1-4) returns to action this Friday and Saturday with a four-game trip to St. Cloud, Minnesota. The Vikings will participate in the Kelly Laas Memorial Softball Tournament hosted by St. Cloud State at the Husky Dome.
Augustana opens the trip with a non-conference game against Concordia-St. Paul at 3:30 p.m. The Vikings will then play Viterbo University at 8 p.m. Augustana returns to action with two games against Nebraska-Kearney (11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.) on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
• Augustana opened the season with a five-game trip to the Desert Stinger in Las Vegas last weekend
• Augustana went 1-4 on its season-opening trip to Las Vegas for the Desert Stinger
• The Vikings played two games on Friday before finishing the trip with four on Saturday
• Augustana took on two teams ranked in the NFCA Preseason Top 25 poll and two which received votes
• Three of Augustana's four losses were decided by just one run
• The Vikings lost 3-2 to Chico State on Friday before picking up an 8-3 win over Texas Woman's University

Maggie Kadrlik had a strong opening weekend to the 2017 season
• Kadrlik batted .500 with eight hits in 16 at-bats, including three doubles and a home run
• Kadrlik was named the NSIC's Player of the Week for the first time in her career for her efforts
• Kadrlik drove in five runs and scored a team-high four on the weekend
• Went 3 for 4 with a double and a run scored against Chico State
• Went 1 for 3 with a three-run home run against Texas Woman's University on Friday
• Was 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI against No. 4 West Texas A&M
• Hit her third double of the trip in the finale against No. 2 Humboldt State Saturday night
