After Concordia-St. Paul scored one in the bottom of the first, the Vikings again put up a bunch of runs in the second.
Sam Baier got things started with a two-run home run to left to make it 8-1. Just two batters later Ashland hit his third home run in as many games with a two-run blast to left that made it 10-1 Augustana after two.

Game Two
Although the Vikings scored 10 runs in the final game of the series, it was the pitching that helped lead Augustana to victory in the final game of the series.

Jasper Elfrink came in to relieve Vaughn and pitched four shutout innings allowing just one run and striking out three on his way to his first career save.
As they have all series the Vikings scored early in the game. Augustana took an early 2-0 lead in the first when a passed ball and a throwing error by the Golden Bear catcher allowed Baier and Johnson to score. CSP scored one in the bottom of the inning to make it 2-1.
Neither team was able to score again until the fourth when
Ford Schroeder homered to left to make 3-1.
In the sixth Ashland singled through the right side scoring O'Donnell to make it 5-1. The Vikings scored one more in the inning when Barry doubled to left center scoring Ashland and giving the Vikings a 7-1 advantage.
In the ninth inning, Ashland again sparked the offense with a two-RBI single.
Alex Beals followed that with a double down the left field line to drive in Ashland. CSP scored one in the bottom of the ninth but Augustana walked away with a 10-2 victory.
