"Our outside hitters played really well today," Jacobs said after her team's first match in the Oredigger Classic. "They showed some fire out there."

Alex Banker joined Place with a double-double. The setter from Omaha, Neb. had 40 assists and muscled up 11 digs.

Tahlyr Banks had a team-high 18 digs.
Augustana (1-0, 0-0) takes on Regis (1-0, 0-0) Friday night at approximately 6:30 p.m. (CT) in their second match from the Oredigger Classic.
