Alex Banker's 35 assists and 11 digs helped propel the Augustana volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over the Rollins Tars at the Oredigger Classic Saturday afternoon.

Courtney Place led the Vikings with 12 kills, while senior libero
Tahlyr Banks accounted for 11 digs.
Augustana won the first set 25-18, the second set 25-6 and the third set 25-20.
"We were in system 90 percent of the time, and with that we are able to run our entire offense," head coach
Jennifer Jacobs said. "Very proud of the way our team bounced back this morning."
In the second set, the Vikings opened up a 6-3 lead before going on a 14-0 run that broke the second set open 20-4. During that stretch, senior
Ashley Wilson pounded four kills. The Sioux Falls native had ten kills and a .571 hitting percentage on the afternoon
Augustana (2-1, 0-0) returns to action for their final match in the Oredigger Classic Saturday at 6:30 p.m. (CT) and will take on Eastern New Mexico.
