SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's tennis team cruised to another 9-0 victory over conference foe University of Mary Saturday night inside the Greatlife Woodlake Athletic Club on Saturday night.
The win gives the Vikings their sixth of the season and improves their record to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the NSIC.
At No. 1 singles,
Berkley Darr defeated Lucia Bolibruch of U-Mary 6-2,6-2.
Taylor Jackson garnered a 6-0, 6-0 win over Kelsey Lajom.
Grace Goble earned a 6-2-6-1 victory over Elleen Leong while
Annika Teske defeated Lisa Anderson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
Kaitlyn Schultz knocked off Cristina Bremar of U-Mary 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
Rebecca Falkner closed out the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Julie Donnelly at No. 6 singles.
Kornelia Staniszewska and Darr earned the 8-0 victory at No. 1 doubles, Schultz and Jackson also won 8-0 while Goble and Falkner won 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
The Vikings return to action Sunday, Feb. 18 when they host MSU Moorhead at 9 a.m. inside the Greatlife Woodlake Athletic Club.
