Annika Teske, the Augustana women's tennis team won their 12th consecutive match in an 8-1 rout over Shippensburg Monday night from the United States Tennis Association National Training Center in Orlando.
The Vikings hot start to their spring break trip was ignited by the three singles sweeps (6-0, 6-0) and
Taylor Jackson's 6-0, 6-1 victory over Shippensburg's Kaylin Gallagher.
Grace Goble kept the momentum alive with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Daisy Rundio.
At No. 1 doubles, Stansizewska and Darr defeated Catherine Miller and Gabie Binder 8-0.
Kaitlyn Schultz and Jackson took down Rundio and Gallagher 8-2 at No. 2 doubles. At No. 3 doubles, Goble and
Anca Rusu defeated Megan Moorhead and Victoria Galanti 8-0.
With the win the Vikings improve to 12-1 on the season while Shippensburg drops to 0-8.
