DULUTH, MINN. -- With the 9-0 decision over St. Cloud State Friday night in Duluth, Minn., the Augustana women's tennis team ran its winstreak to 98 consecutive NSIC matches.
Sitting atop of the conference with just one match remaining in the regular season, the Vikings are 17-3 overall and 10-0 in league play. The Huskies drop to 3-14 overall and 3-6 in the NSIC.
Kornelia Staniszewska, a junior who's currently ranked 10th nationally, defeated Alexie Portz 6-0, 6-0 and improves to 15-0 in singles play on the season. At No. 5 singles,
Anca Rusu defeated Ann Marie White, 6-0, 6-0 for Augustana's second sweep in singles play.

Berkley Darr, who are ranked 49th in the country in doubles competition this year, defeated Portz and Fernando Dos Santos 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Taylor Jackson and
Kaitlyn Schultz were victories at No. 2 doubles, 8-1.
Grace Goble and Rusu capped off the doubles sweep for Augustana with an 8-1 victory.
The Vikings return to action Saturday, April 7 when they complete their regular season against Minnesota Duluth at 11 a.m.
