DULUTH, MINN. -- A 9-0 victory over Minnesota Duluth Saturday afternoon from the Duluth Indoor Sports Center secured the ninth consecutive regular season NSIC championship for the Augustana women's tennis team. The Vikings have won 99 consecutive conference matches and locked in the No. 1 seed in the NSIC conference tournament which takes place Saturday, April 21.

Berkley Darr and junior
Kornelia Staniszewska defeated Shelby Benkofske and Megan Anderson of UMD 8-0 in No. 1 doubles.
Taylor Jackson, a sophomore out of Minneapolis and
Kaitlyn Schultz, a senior from Fort Collins, Colo. earned the 8-2 victory over Katie Baasch and Jillian Klasen 8-2.
Grace Goble, a freshman from Rapid City, S.D., and
Anca Rusu, a freshman from Baia Mare, Romania capped off the doubles sweep with an 8-1 win over Arielle Emerson and Elsa Erickson.
Staniszewska, who's ranked 10th nationally at No. 1 singles, remained unbeaten on the year with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Benkofske. Jackson earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Anderson at No. 2 singles, while Goble kept things rolling with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Erickson at No. 3 singles.
Annika Teske, who's a sophomore from Elk River, Minn. earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles over Baasch. Rusu and Schultz completed the singles sweep,each defeating their opponents 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.
The Vikings completed the regular season 18-3 overall and 11-0 in the NSIC. Augustana returns to action for the first round of the conference tournament on Saturday, April 21 in Minnetonka, Minn. They'll host the 8th-seeded team, which is to be announced.
