CORAL SPRINGS, Florida -- The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were recently announced and four Augustana Women's Golfers earned the prestigious honor.
Seniors
Kali Trautman,
Emily Israelson, sophomore
Hannah Hankinson and freshman
Alex Stone were four of the 1,011 women's collegiate golfers recognized for one of the most stringent academic awards in college athletics.
The criteria for being selected to the All-American Scholar Team includes a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
"Along with having a phenomenal golf season, these four student-athletes were excellent in the classroom," head coach
Peggy Kirby said. "It is a tremendous honor for these athletes and we are extremely proud of their dedication and desire to achieve greatness both in the classroom and on the golf course."
