SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Coming off its best finish of the season, the Augustana men's golf team competes for the last time this fall at the MWSU Holiday Inn Express Men's Invitational. The Vikings tee off at 8 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday. Missouri Western hosts the event at the St. Joseph Country Club. The 18-hole course measures 6,852 yards and features six par-threes, five par-fives, and seven par-fours.

The Event
The field consists of 20 teams and is the biggest event that the Vikings will compete in this fall. The field features 10 teams from the MIAA (Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association), eight teams from the NSIC (Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference), and two teams from the Great American Conference. The teams will play two rounds of 18 holes on Monday and one round of 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Vikings
Last season at the MWSU Event, the Vikings were led by now-senior Cole Crawford. Crawford shot a 75 and finished just four strokes above par. Now-sophomores Sam Sutcliffe and Jacob lee followed closely behind with rounds of 76 and 77, respectively. The second-round of last year's event was cancelled due to rain.

Players to Watch
Preseason Golfer to Watch Jacob Lee has been stellar this season for the Vikings. He leads the team in strokes (446) , average strokes per round (74.33), and lowest round (69). Lee has parred three rounds this season and has also had two top-five finishes.
