SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Senior forward Claire Dahm was selected to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District NCAA Division II Soccer Team, CoSIDA announced Thursday afternoon.

Eleven athletes were selected to the District VII team and Dahm is one of eight seniors that were selected. Nine of the athletes participate in the NSIC. District VII consists of the NSIC, Great American Conference and Mid-America Intercollegiate Conference. 

Dahm has been excelling on and off the soccer field during her time at Augustana. In the classroom, the senior holds a 3.73 GPA, while majoring in Biology.

On the soccer field, Dahm is having her best season as a Viking. She is second on the team in points and goals and tallied the game-winning goal against MSU Moorhead on senior day. After being held off the scoresheet in the first nine games of the season, Dahm rattled off six goals in five matches. 

The senior from Ankeny, Iowa, will look to continue her excellence Friday in the regular season finale and in the NSIC Tournament that starts on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
