BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- For the first time in her career, Callie DeWitt earned NSIC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honors announced by the NSIC on Monday afternoon. The Brandon, S.D. native put up her top time of the season in the 60m dash to earn the honor from the conference.

DeWitt recorded a provisional qualifying time in her sprint that ranks first in the NSIC and 22nd nationally for Division II. The sophomore placed first in the event for the first time this season. She is also the first Viking woman to earn athlete of the week honors for indoor track and field this season.

Augustana returns to the track for the NSIC Indoor Championships on February 22-23 in Mankato, Minn.
