NEW ORLEANS – Augustana men's and women's track and field teams—as well as seven individual student athletes—were honored with All-Academic recognitions by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, officials announced Monday afternoon.
 
To qualify for team honors, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's indoor and outdoor teams must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Viking men earned their 15th team recognition with a GPA of 3.41 while the women came in with a GPA of 3.75 for their 18th team honor.
 
For individual recognition, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25. Two men and five women from the Viking track and field roster were honored with this academic achievement.
