BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- For the third time this season. Augustana women's tennis student-athlete Kornelia Staniszewska, a senior from Opalenie, Poland, has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Athlete of the Week.

It's the 12th time Staniszewska has earned Athlete of the Week honors and fourth of the season for the Vikings.

The Opalenie, Poland native finished the week in Florida 3-0 in both No. 1 Singles and No. 1 Doubles action. She extended her regular-season win streak to 30 matches with wins over Tetyana Pavych 6-2, 6-4 (Northwood), No. 6 Kristine Gegeshidze 6-4, 6-0 (Charleston) and Itxaso Blanco 7-6, (7-2), 4-6, 13-11.

In doubles play, Staniszewska teamed up with Laura Arce Vieyra to pick up three wins over the week. The duo remained undefeated with wins over No. 25 Tetyana Pavych and Carol Arnez-Mercado (Northwood) 6-1, No. 8 Kristine Gegeshidze and Katie Swann (Charleston) 6-0 and Jillian Hobbs and Itxaso Blanco (Embry-Riddle) 6-4.

As a team, Augustana (13-1, 9-0 NSIC) won two matches in Florida, 4-2 over Northwood and 5-2 against Charleston.

The Vikings have won 108 straight NSIC matches dating back to the 2009 season and will travel to Kansas this weekend to take on Washburn and Emporia State, March 23 and March 24.
