SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The No. 2 Augustana baseball team is hitting the road for the next week as they travel to Florida for their annual Spring trip. The Vikings will face off with seven opponents from March 7-13 in Auburndale and Kissimmee, Fla.. 

The Vikings return to action after a 2-1 series win against Drury last weekend. Augustana took games one and two in the series, winning 5-4 in extra innings in game one and 4-0 in the second game. Drury took game three with a 7-2 victory. 

During last weekend's second game, the Vikings saw an outstanding performance from freshman pitcher Seth Miller, who made his first collegiate start while going seven full innings in a complete game shutout with eight strikeouts.

Senior Nate Crossman led the way at the plate for Augustana in the series, going 5-6 in the first two games of the series with two doubles and three RBI. 

During the week-long trip to the Sunshine State, Augustana will compete against Ashland (6-1), Seton Hill (4-3), Grand Valley State (4-5), New York Tech (4-0), Northwood (7-3), Wayne State (Mich.) (8-0), and West Chester (3-0).
